Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

The Ferrari 599 (internal code F141) is an Italian sports car produced by Ferrari. It was the brand's two-seat flagship, replacing the 575M Maranello in 2006 as a 2007 model, but was replaced for the 2013 model year by the F12berlinetta. Styled by Pininfarina under the direction of Ferrari's Frank Stephenson, the 599 GTB debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in February 2006. It is named for its total engine displacement (5999 cc), Gran Turismo Berlinetta nature, and the Fiorano Circuit test track used by Ferrari.

Ferrari 612

Crashing an exotic is bad enough, but locking your Ferrari 612 Scaglietti in an expensive garage at a Scottish Ferrari dealership only to find that it’s been destroyed by an axe-wielding intruder is something else entirely. This is, unfortunately, not a figment of our imagination. The owner, Rajinder Singh, booked the car into the local Ferrari dealership garage to have a pump fixed and one would assume that Ferrari would take extensive...

Ferrari 250 GT LWB

The 250 GT California Spider shared its underpinnings with the 250 GTO race car. The body was hand beaten out of aluminium. The exterior styling was based on the Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series I which was designed by, none other than Pininfarina. You can spot the slight tweaks that have been made on the California Spider’s design. Inside, the 250 GT California Spider isn’t what you call luxurious. The interior stripped off any unnecessary stuff,...

Ferrari FF

As I’m driving through hairpin corners in the Dolomite Mountains of the South Tyrol region of Italy, the Ferrari FF’s two-door wagon body style is the last thing on my mind, which is interesting because it’s probably the first thing anyone else would notice about the latest four-seater from Maranello. Instead, my most pressing thought, besides not dropping a $300,000 GT car off a cliff, is the FF’s four-wheel-drive system, which has so tamed the...

Ferrari F12

Ferrari’s new supercar, the F12, looks to blend the comfort of a GT with the mind-numbing speed of a supercar. And, I’m here in Maranello to try and tame the 730 horses under the hood of Ferrari’s F12. The F12’s hunkered down shape gets your attention immediately, it looks very purposeful in profile and there are some genuinely unique bits like the ‘Aero Bridge’ that tunnels through the fender for greater aerodynamic stability. What’s missing, however, is that supermodel-like, long-limbed elegance that earlier Ferraris like the Daytona, Dino,...
